Lakeland Trails
The Beeline Events team has been responsible for the safe delivery of the Lakeland Trails events since 2015.
Lakeland Trails offer the largest trail running events in the Lake District. The organisation was established in 2004 with just 80 runners taking part, quickly expanding to now welcome around 12,500 runners to 9 events a year at stunning locations within the Lake District National Park.
Lakeland Trails has an large, engaged social media audience, with over 20,000 followers on Facebook and over 25,000 runners on its mailing list.
In 2021, the Lakeland Trails Ultra was selected to be the official British Athletics Ultra Trial event, hosting 20 of the country’s finest Ultra runners.
In 2020, at the height of the covid pandemic (and when it was safe and permissible to do so), some of the largest events in the country were put on, with over 900 competitors taking part in a completely covid-secure way.
A recent addition to the Lakeland Trails has been a brace of Virtual events which attracted almost 1000 runners in 2021.
